Magnesium is an essential mineral that is widely present in many foods and commonly included in mineral supplements. Chloride is a naturally occurring electrolyte found in many foods and mineral sources. Sodium is a common electrolyte that occurs naturally in many foods and beverages, while potassium is a naturally occurring mineral widely found in fruits, vegetables and mineral concentrates.
